The woman was transported to Lansdale Hospital following an accident on Bustard Road Friday.
Abington Health Lansdale Hospital treated the injured driver of a minivan after she was hurt in a crash on Bustard Road near Saddle Wood Court Friday in Worcester, according to The Reporter. The woman was driving a Chevrolet Cruze, which hit a tree stump on the side of southbound Bustard Road, careening the car into the northbound lane, causing it to flip onto its side, according to the article. MyFoxPhilly.com reported a two-car accident on the Northeast Extension Tuesday night severely injured one person, who was flown to a nearby hospital for treatment. Two others were also injured. Joseph Carrig, 59, of Hatfield, broke a windshield wiper off of the victim's car when they wouldn't roll down the window following a minor accident.
On April 16 at 10:42 a.m., police were called to the area of Dekalb Pike and Skippack Pike for a report of a road rage incident that had just occurred. The victim reported that after a minor accident, Joseph Carrig, 59, of the 100 block of Willow Drive, Hatfield, got out of his car and broke the windshield wiper on the victim’s car. Carrig then drove away, the report states. Police spoke to Carrig, who allegedly admitted that after the accident, he walked up to the victim’s car, but the driver refused to roll down his window when he tried to speak with him. An Upper Gwynedd man was killed early Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle crash in Salford Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. Police said Ryan Alexander Petrille, 21, was a passenger in a 2000 Honda Civic being driven by Sean Christopher Sperl, also 21, on Route 563 shortly after midnight. According to police, Sperl, of Lansdale, was traveling at a "high rate of speed" and "failed to negotiate a curve" in the road. The car struck a utility pole and was torn in half, ejecting Petrille from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Montgomery County Coroner's office. Pennsylvania State Police said Paige Eberharter, 21, of North Wales, was injured in a crash April 13 at 3:16 a.m. on the 1000 block of Whitehall Road, Worcester. The driver of the 1996 Nissan Maxima was Nam Vu, 36, of East Norriton, police said. Vu was arrested on suspicion of DUI, police said. Police said Vu was traveling north on Whitehall Road, when he failed to negotiate the left curve in the road. The Nissan left the right side of the road and struck a guardrail with its front end, police said. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Three people were injured in a Tuesday night crash at Park Road and West Point Pike in West Point, Upper Gwynedd, according to The Reporter. A female teenage passenger was transported via helicopter to a Philadelphia hospital, according to the article. Jeremiah White's stomach allegedly got him in trouble with the law — and he is now headed to county trial on, among other offenses, a felony receiving stolen property charge. White, 19, of the 400 block of North Charlotte Street, Pottstown, waived charges of felony receiving stolen property, misdemeanor accidents involving damage to another vehicle, failing to stop and render aid and following a vehicle too closely Tuesday at Montgomery Township district court, according to The Reporter.
