On April 16 at 10:42 a.m., police were called to the area of Dekalb Pike and Skippack Pike for a report of a road rage incident that had just occurred. The victim reported that after a minor accident, Joseph Carrig, 59, of the 100 block of Willow Drive, Hatfield, got out of his car and broke the windshield wiper on the victim’s car. Carrig then drove away, the report states. Police spoke to Carrig, who allegedly admitted that after the accident, he walked up to the victim’s car, but the driver refused to roll down his window when he tried to speak with him. An Upper Gwynedd man was killed early Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle crash in Salford Township, Pennsylvania State Police said. Police said Ryan Alexander Petrille, 21, was a passenger in a 2000 Honda Civic being driven by Sean Christopher Sperl, also 21, on Route 563 shortly after midnight. According to police, Sperl, of Lansdale, was traveling at a "high rate of speed" and "failed to negotiate a curve" in the road.
