According to Mike Goldberg of The Reporter, one man was injured and transported to Abington Memorial Hospital after his Mitsubishi Lancer collided with a Jeep Cherokee at Upper State Road in Route 309 in Montgomery Township at around 3:15 p.m. Thursday. Danny Chiu, 34, of the 100 block of Gwynmont Drive, has charges pending results of blood testing
A Montgomery Township man was arrested for suspicion of DUI in a crash in Whitpain Township on Dec. 23 at 3:29 a.m. Danny Chiu, 34, of the 100 block of Gwynmont Drive, left the roadway on the 500 block of Stenton Avenue and struck a tree, police said. During the investigation, it appeared Chiu had been drinking, police said. Blood was drawn for lab testing at Mercy Suburban Hospital, police said. Marijuana and paraphernalia were also found on Chiu, police said. Charges of DUI, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia are pending upon return of lab results, police said.

If you know of a red Vovlo with windshield and hood damage, then it is suggested you contact Lansdale Police — as it's the make of vehicle in Friday evening's hit-and-run in Lansdale. For the third time since March, a pedestrian was hit at Second Street and North Broad Street in the borough. At around 6 p.m. Friday, a 40-year-old man from Franklin Street in Lansdale was crossing North Broad Street east from Second Street, when he was hit by a red Volvo in the yellow dividing lines, police said. The car was south on Broad Street, police said. Witnesses told police the Volvo failed to stop after hitting the pedestrian, and continued on Broad Street. Update Monday, Dec. 3 Lower Salford Police have identified the driver killed in an accident in Harleysville Friday afternoon as Christopher Detweiler, 42, of the 100 block of Morris Road, Lower Salford. Earlier Story A Harleysville resident died as a result of a one-car crash on Quarry Road near Stover Road Friday afternoon. According to Breaking News Network, one person was trapped in a vehicle. A driver was rescued from a vehicle, and flown by Mid-Atlantic MedEvac 3, according to BNN. According to The Reporter, the driver was flown to Hahnemann Hospital, but did not survive injuries sustained from the crash. The driver of the Chevrolet Cavalier was identified as Stacy Byrne, 32, of Prospect Avenue of Croydon, police said. The driver of the Toyota Camry — which hit the Cavalier from behind, struck a rock and went airborne — is identified as Mary E. Dodds, 49, of the 100 block of Damson Lane, Montgomery Township, police said. The passenger in the Cavalier who was injured was Byrne's husband, Ian Byrne. Peter Kim, 50, of Berwick Place, Towamencin, allegedly caused an accident on Route 73
Peter Kim, 50, of Berwick Place, Towamencin, was cited by state police for failing to make a safe stop at a red light on Route 73 at Whitehall Road, according to the Reporter. Kim was involved in an accident, police allege, for not fully stopping at the light. Police said Kim was driving a 2012 Toyota Venza east on Route 73 around 9:10 a.m. Nov. 17, and hit a trailer’s tires on its left side, according to the article. The trailer was on a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500, driven by Carmelo Matrocola, 36, of Norristown, according to the article. Matrocola was turning left from Whitehall Road onto Route 73. A teenager suffered an ankle injury Thursday afternoon in an accident at North Broad and East Second in Lansdale
A Penndale eighth grader on a bike and a North Penn school bus collided at the intersection of East Second and North Broad streets in Lansdale Thursday afternoon. The teen suffered an ankle injury and was taken by Volunteer Medical Service Corps to Lansdale Hospital, according to The Reporter. The teen's identity has not been released. According to the article, the bus was positioned as if the driver was attempting a right turn onto Second from Broad. A woman was ejected out the passenger side window after she hit the median in her Mercedes-Benz
A woman is dead after being ejected from her 1997 Mercedes-Benz on Route 309 near Route 113 in Hilltown Township Wednesday afternoon. According to the Perkasie News-Herald, the woman was ejected out the passenger side window and was pronounced dead at the scene. Hilltown Township Police told the News-Herald that the woman had been driving northbound on Route 309, when she went off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail. The car then ricocheted across both lanes and hit a dividing median, according to the article. Towamencin Police are attempting to identify the driver
Allentown Road was closed for several hours Monday morning between Weikel Road and Valley Forge Road following a one-vehicle accident where the driver struck a utility pole near Inglewood Elementary School. Towamencin Township Police are attempting to identify the driver, who is an adult male and the only occupant of the vehicle, police said. A female driver was transported to Lansdale Hospital and flown for treatment of a leg injury following an accident Wednesday morning on Allentown Road near Central Drive
Two drivers were injured in a head-on collision Wednesday morning at Allentown Road and Central Drive in Towamencin Township, according to Geoff Patton of The Reporter. Officer Travis Wood of Towamencin Police told The Reporter that a male driver swerved into the westbound lane of Allentown Road, striking a westbound vehicle driven by a female. It wasn't he who was hit two other times, it was two other incidents since March. Leaving dumb comments like that only makes you look dumb.
