"Wreck-It Ralph" opened this weekend in area theaters. The new Disney 3-D movie (which you can also view in a traditional 2-D, as well) is opening to very positive movie reviews. The LA Times reviews say "Wreck-It Ralph" "scores big" and that it is "not just the joystick junkie" that will enjoy the flick. The Wall Street Journal is saying the movie is a "clever story and heartfelt characters that should appeal to kids and their parents" in its latest reviews. The movie features a character that longs to be in a new video game, tired of always being the "villain" in his own. It references many actual video games, including "Call of Duty," (called "Hero's Duty" in the movie) "Qbert," Mario Brothers, Sonic and Pac-Man, appealing to many …

Five life lessons learned from "The Three Stooges"
Happy New Year to everyone and let me welcome you all, again, to the Montgomeryville-Lansdale Patch. This year already started out great: new job, new look on life – and 35 hours of "The Three Stooges" on AMC. (It's a good thing I opted for that DVR) I've loved Howard, Fine and Howard and Shemp – but not so much Curly Joe DeRita or Joe Besser – since I was young. My father and I have clocked many, many hours "nyuking" it up at these vaudeville icons. So, you can imagine what my day consisted of on Jan. 1, 2011. Never before had it felt so right to be so lazy. The Stooges were always there to lend a helping hand. Whether it was a princess in distress, or finding a kidnapped father, or taking care of an abandoned baby, they always stepped up to the plate and did the right thing.
