Nine of 10 suspects charged in connection with a May methamphetamine trafficking ring bust are scheduled for preliminary hearings today at 10 before District Judge Andrea Duffy in Montgomeryville. Here are the individuals scheduled for hearings Wednesday: Ryan Burns, of 804 Marlbrook Lane, Upper Gwynedd (Madison at Willowyck), has had his preliminary hearing continued four times since his May 4 preliminary arraignment, according to court records. Burns' preliminary hearing is set for June 12 at 10:30 a.m. before Duffy. Four suspects busted May 8 in a methamphetamine trafficking ring across Philadelphia and Montgomery counties waived charges against them to county court during a preliminary hearing Thursday before District Judge Andrea Duffy in Montgomeryville. One of the "big players," according to Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Jason Whalley, is Francesco "Frank" Messina, of 719 Schwab Road, Hatfield Township. Messina waived all charges to county court July 5. Messina, feet and hands shackled, shuffled into the courtroom with his head down in a blue Montgomery County Prison jumpsuit. A total of 32 suspects were arrested in connection with a methamphetamine distribution network which spanned from northern Montgomery County to Philadelphia.
Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman has announced the arrest of 32 suspects in connection with a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking operation, which spanned from northern Montgomery County to Philadelphia and included 12 residents of Lansdale Borough and Hatfield, Towamencin, Montgomery and Upper Gwynedd townships. Methamphetamine was recovered from a motorcycle repair shop in Lansdale, according to the report, just one of many locations where police executed a search warrant. One of those arrested in charged with drug violations include Ronald Krauss, owner of Bad Ronald's Custom Tattooing in Lansdale. A 26-year-old Towamencin woman was arrested for assault in connection with an alleged stabbing, and vandals hit Christopher Dock.
Towamencin Woman arrested in stabbing incident A 26-year-old Towamencin woman was arrested May 14 and charged for her alleged involvement in a stabbing at a home on the 100 block of Community Drive in Morgandale. Lauren Marie Deslonde, 26, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, possessing an instrument of crime and harassment after she allegedly stabbed a man in the arm with a knife, police said. Deslonde was arraigned before District Judge John Murray and released on $2,500 unsecured bail. Police said they were dispatched to Morgandale May 14 at 7:10 p.m. to investigate a reported disturbance.
