A Lansdale man is facing six felonies and four misdemeanors for allegedly setting a Ford Focus on fire behind Lansdale Food Mart in the early morning hours of March 28. Jordan Fiscus, 25, of the unit block of East Third Street, has been arrested and charged on Tuesday by Lansdale Police for the 3 a.m. vehicle arson behind U.S. Gas and Food Mart at 291 N. Broad St. Fiscus faces the following charges at an April 26 preliminary hearing in Lansdale District Court: On March 28 at 3:12 a.m., Lansdale Police, along with members of Fairmount Fire Co. in Lansdale, responded to a car fire behind the Lansdale Food Mart, police said. A Lansdale man is headed to prison on Feb. 15 for up to 23 months for admitting to setting a fire to paper rolls inside Berk Wiper Converting after being fired. Tyrone A. Heitz, 22, of the 800 block of Wedgewood Drive, pleaded guilty Monday to recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief, according to Peg Gibbons of The Intelligencer. Heitz had two felony arson charges withdrawn at his preliminary hearing in August 2012. He was not prosecuted on a third felony arson charge in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, or a disorderly conduct charge, according to court records. Two felony arson charges were withdrawn at a preliminary hearing for Tyrone Allan Wyche Heitz, 21, of the 800 block of Wedgewood Drive. Heitz is accused of starting a fire after getting fired. Heitz will face a felony arson charge, a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief, a misdemeanor charge of recklessly endangering another person and a summary charge of disorderly conduct at a September 26 arraignment at Montgomery County court, according to court documents. Jeffrey Reese Streamer, 44, of Upper Gwynedd, pleaded guilty Tuesday to two arsons that occurred in Towamencin and Wyncote Academy in Cheltenham
Jeffrey Reese Streamer, 44, of the 1200 block of Browning Court, Upper Gwynedd, was sentenced to 40 to 80 months in state prison for pleading guilty to two arsons and burglaries over a two-day period in 2011 in Towamencin and Cheltenham. According to Montgomery Newspapers, Streamer admitted to setting a fire on July 4, 2011 to 1010 Anders Road in Towamencin. Streamer also admitted to torching Wyncote Academy in Cheltenham the next day. The private school is on the 7900 block of Washington Lane. Montco DA announces the arrest of 10 members of the Norristown-based "Gangsta Killer Bloods."
On Wednesday morning, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman announced the arrest of 10 alleged members of the "Gangsta Killer Bloods," including the alleged leader of the gang, 23-year-old Augustus Anthony Simmons, of Brooklyn, NY. The arrests cap off six months of work by a Montgomery County investigative grand jury, who traced the alleged criminal enterprise back to Simmons' arrival in Norristown in July of 2010. Fire started between carbon dioxide cylinder and grease trap in rear of building
Towamencin Fire Marshal Kevin Pezzano and Towamencin Police are still investigating a fire that broke out in the rear of Blue Dog Pub Friday night around 10:15. At this time, the fire is deemed as "suspicious," according to Towamencin Vol. Fire Co. Chief Dean Miller. "It's suspicious at this point.
