Wanted Alleged Lansdale Cocaine Dealer Turns Himself In

Frank Raphiek Cristea, 36, of West Eighth Street, was wanted on an outstanding felony drug warrant, police said.

The Lansdale man wanted by Lansdale Police for alleged cocaine sales in the borough has turned himself in to police Thursday. Frank Raphiek Cristea, 36, of the 500 block of West Eighth Street, was wanted on an outstanding felony drug warrant, police said. Cristea was arraigned before District Judge Harold Borek, who set bail at $50,000 cash, police said. Cristea is currently incarcerated at Montgomery County prison.  A preliminary hearing date is pending. On April 19, Lansdale Police detectives served a warrant on Cristea's home on an unrelated assault case, police said. Cristea was not home at the time of the service. During the search, detectives smelled marijuana and saw a marijuana pipe; this led police to apply for a second search …

Alleged Cocaine Dealer Wanted by Lansdale Police

Frank Raphiek Cristea, 36, of West Eighth Street, abandoned his apartment and his whereabouts are unknown, police said.

Lansdale Police are seeking the whereabouts of alleged cocaine dealer Frank Raphiek Cristea, 36, formerly of the 500 block of West Eighth Street, Lansdale, following a search warrant service on his home on April 19. On April 19, Lansdale Police detectives served a warrant on Cristea's home on an unrelated assault case, police said. Cristea was not home at the time of the service. During the search, detectives smelled marijuana and saw a marijuana pipe; this led police to apply for a second search warrant specifically for narcotics, police said. Judge Andrea Duffy of Montgomery Township District Court issued the warrant, police said. The woman reportedly launched into profanity-laden tirades directed towards the store's manager as well as responding officers. Tambourino Pleads Guilty to Fireside Assault, Sentenced to Prison

Marino Tambourino, 36, was sentenced to six-to-23 months in prison after pleading guilty to the assault of David Rogers, of Lansdale, at the Fireside Bar and Grill in March of 2012.

Marino A. Tambourino, 36, of Ambler, was sentenced to six-to-23 months in prison after pleading guilty to charges stemming from the March 2012 assault of a Lansdale man at the Fireside Bar and Grill. In addition to the prison sentence, Tambourino will also have to complete two years' of probation following his parole, according to the Reporter. The report adds that he will be eligible for work release while incarcerated. Though originally charged with felony aggravated assault, Tambourino pleaded guilty to the lesser charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person as part of Monday's plea agreement. Assault Charge Held for Lansdale Man Who Allegedly Hit Woman for Waking Him Up

Charles Schmidt Jr., 30, of Walnut Street, allegedly hit a woman in the ribs because she woke him up when she went to the bathroom during the night. Schmidt Jr. also hates when people watch TV while he sleeps.

A Lansdale man, who allegedly assaulted a woman because she got up to use the bathroom, thereby waking him up, heads to Montgomery County court on misdemeanor assault and summary harassment charges. Charles Schmidt Jr., 30, of the 600 block of Walnut Street, also does not like it when the alleged victim gets up to watch TV at night, according to an affidavit. Schmidt will be arraigned in county court on May 22. Lansdale District Court Judge Harold Borek held both charges against Schmidt Jr. Thursday. Schmidt Jr. has bail set at unsecured $10,000, according to court records. Alleged Lansdale Landlord-Knife-Attacking Tenant Heads to Trial

Basement dweller William Keith Kane, 23, had the sole felony charge dismissed at a preliminary hearing in Lansdale District Court Thursday. Kane allegedly assaulted and threatened to kill his landlord with a knife and tire iron.

Franklin Street basement tenant William Keith Kane, 23, of Lansdale, will not face a felony charge of aggravated assault in Montgomery County court in May for allegedly assaulting and threatening his landlord with a knife and tire iron. The charge was dismissed at a preliminary hearing Thursday morning in Lansdale District Court. All other charges against Kane were held by District Judge Harold Borek: misdemeanor possessing an instrument of crime, three counts of misdemeanor simple assault, misdemeanor reckless endangerment and summary harassment. Ambler Man Heading to Jury Trial in Fireside Assault Case

Marino Tambourino, 35, is charged with felony aggravated assault and related offenses in connection with the beating of a Lansdale man at the Fireside Bar and Grill in March of 2012.

A jury trial has been scheduled for 35-year-old Marino Tambourino, of Ambler, who is accused of beating a Lansdale man at the Fireside Bar and Grill on Saint Patrick's Day in 2012. Tambourino, whose trial is set for April 22 at 9 a.m. at the Montgomery County Courthouse, is charged with felony aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment, in connection with the incident. Police responded to the Fireside during the early hours of Sunday, March 18, 2012, for a report of an assault. Being a butcher-knife-wielding “Grinch” on Christmas has sent one Hatfield woman to jail. Karen Pilat, 51, got a maximum 23-month sentence for conviction on a misdemeanor simple assault for a Christmas 2011 attack on her husband, according to Mainline Media. Pilat menaced her husband with a butcher knife inside their 2400 block of Merel Drive home Christmas morning. Why? Because she didn’t like her gifts. She wanted jewels and a card. Attempted Murder Charge in Lansdale Easter Sunday Shooting

Karim Amir Walker, 20, of Philadelphia, allegedly shot at the brothers of his girlfriend with a stolen Glock handgun. He allegedly fled the scene with his infant son in the vehicle. Walker remains in prison on $500,000 cash bail.

A North Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged by Lansdale Police with attempted murder Monday for allegedly shooting at the brothers of his girlfriend on Easter Sunday afternoon on Ridge Street, all while his two-year-old son was in the car. Karim Amir Walker, 20, of the 5000 block of Boudinot Street, was arraigned Monday afternoon before District Judge Andrea Duffy in Montgomeryville. He remains in prison on $500,000 bail. Walker allegedly fled the scene in a Ford SUV—with his infant son inside the vehicle, according to the criminal complaint. Man Charged with Disposing Evidence in Lansdale Coin Shop Robbery Heads to Trial

Anthony Hughes, of West Third Street in Lansdale, allegedly disposed of a handgun and a knife owned by one of the men charged in the January robbery and assault at Hen's Coins and Collectibles in Lansdale.

A Lansdale man charged with felony hindering prosecution and apprehension of two of his alleged accomplices in the January robbery and assault at Hen's Coins and Collectibles on West Main Street waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday afternoon in Lansdale District Court. Anthony Hughes, 25, of the unit block of West Third Street, had a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance withdrawn by the Commonwealth. The felony charge, a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana remain against him.
