Attempted Burglary, Looting Reported at CVS

Towamencin Police are investigating the attempted burglary at the CVS Pharmacy on Valley Forge Road that occurred the early morning of October 31

There was an attempted looting of the CVS Pharmacy at 840 Valley Forge Road in the early morning hours of Oct. 31. Towamencin Township Police are investigating an attempted burglary of the CVS that occurred between 2 a.m. and 4:33 a.m., police said. A Towamencin officer on patrol saw that an exterior glass panel next to the external front entrance doors was broken out, police said. Further investigation showed that a second glass panel within the entrance foyer area, which allows access into the store, was also broken out, police said. Backup was called in from Upper Gwynedd Township Police and Lansdale Police, as well as a canine unit from Montgomery Township. Burglary, Attempted Burglary in One Day in Upper Gwynedd

Upper Gwynedd Township Police are investigating a burglary on Station Drive and an attempted burglary on Patriot Drive that occurred Friday

Upper Gwynedd was the choice locale for burglaries Friday by a suspected burglar or burglars. The burglary and attempted burglary occurred in the daytime. At 11:06 a.m., police responded to an attempted burglary on the 900 block of Patriot Drive. Sources posted the address as 921 Patriot Drive in Upper Gwynedd. The homeowner heard loud knocking at the door, but did not recognize the vehicle in the driveway, police said. When he went to check it out, he saw a black male at the back door, attempting to gain entry, police said. The burglar fled upon discovery, police said. Witnesses described the vehicle parked in the driveway as a gray Lincoln Town Car with a dark-colored gray or black vinyl roof, police said. The car was occupied by two …

Lansdale Man Charged with Attempted Burglary

Patrick J. Brumbaugh, 20, of Lansdale, and Gregory Eagle, 29, of Pottstown, are charged with attempted burglary after an incident on July 23 in the unit block of King Road, Salford Township, police said. According to a report issued by Pennsylvania State Police Skippack barracks, between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. July 23, a burglar alarm went off at a building on King Road, and a vehicle was seen fleeing the scene. Following a broadcast to area police patrols, police stopped a vehicle matching the witness's description at Lower Frederick Township Fire House, police said. Attempted Burglary Reported at Pool Snack Stand

A burglary also occurred on the 2000 block of Kriebel Road

Towamencin Township Police said a burglar or burglars were unsuccessful in breaking into the snack stand at the Towamencin Pool Complex on Weikel Road between May 26 and May 28. Police said the burglar or burglars attempted to gain access to the building by drilling out several locks. Entry was not gained into the snack stand. In a separate incident, a burglary was carried out in a barn in the 2000 block of Kriebel Road betweeen May 20 and May 23, police said. A Troy-Built pressure washer valued at $300 was reported taken, polcie said. Entry was gained through an unsecured door, police said. Reported Attempted Burglary on Old Dutch Road

Homeowner found a man running out of his garage into an awaiting vehicle

Towamencin Township Police reported Thursday that they are investigating a reported attempted burglary of a home on the unit block of Old Dutch Road on Feb. 17 at 9:30 pm. Police said the resident was at h ome and heard his dog barking. The resident stepped outside and saw a man, possibly wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt, run out of his garage to a waiting vehicle that fled the area, police said. The resident was unable to describe the suspect or vehicle, police said. The garage was left open, but no entry was gained into the home itself, police said. Nothing was reported stolen from the garage.

POLICE: Burglaries Reported in Towamencin

In one incident, homeowners were sleeping when their vehicles in their garage were ransacked

Towamencin Police are investigating a series of burglaries and at least one attempted burglary that occurred overnight June 1 into June 2. A home on the 1500 block of Bridle Path Drive was discovered burglarized when the homeowners woke up June 2, police said. An enclosed porch was entered by removing a screen and opening a window. The garage was entered through an unlocked door, police said. Entry was not gained into the main living quarters of the home, police said. Two vehicles parked unlocked in the garage were ransacked, but nothing was reported taken, police said. In an unrelated incident, a vehicle parked on the 1600 block of Bridle Path Drive was entered.
