On Saturday, the brewery, which opened in July 2012, celebrated with raffles, prizes, giveaways, food, drink, hospitality and camaraderie.
Ben Franklin said it best: Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. Proof was in the pints Saturday afternoon with all the happy faces gracing the grand opening of Lansdale brewery Round Guys Brewing Co. Local and state dignitaries were on hand — Lansdale Mayor Andy Szekely, Councilmen Dan Dunigan and Jason Van Dame, Sen. Bob Mensch and Rep. Bob Godshall — at the 1 p.m. ribbon cutting. The day was filled with full taps, giveaways, raffle prizes, contests and more. The Fermentors also rocked the place Saturday night. "We’ve basically been open for about a year, and we're celebrating our first year anniversary and officially putting our mark in Lansdale," said brewery co-owner Rich DiLiberto. Ambler joins efforts in New Jersey and California alleging Anheuser-Busch overstates the percentage of alcohol on their products’ labels.
Two Ambler brothers have joined class action lawsuits filed in California and New Jersey, claiming Anheuser-Busch waters down beers such as Budweiser, Michelob, Natural Ice and Bud Light Platinum. Lawsuits in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and California allege the company overstates the percentage of alcohol on their products’ labels. California attorney Josh Boxer, whose firm is coordinating several of the lawsuits, said there will be about a dozen total suits filed, Patch reported. The claims are based on statements from former Anheuser-Busch brewery employees, who say extra water was routinely added to beers before bottling, Time reported. Each class action lawsuit is seeking more than $5 million from Anheuser-Busch. People from Ohio and …

Local brewery Round Guys Brewery is celebrating their grand opening and its one year anniversary on March 9.
Round Guys Brewery is celebrating, and they have a lot to celebrate. On March 9, beginning at noon, the Lansdale brewery will celebrate its grand opening and its one-year anniversary with a ribbon cutting and all day events. Brewer and co-owner Rich DiLiberto said the craft brewery had a very quiet, soft opening for the past year. It opened in March of 2012 solely as a brewery, and in June as a brewery and pub. The pub offers eight beers on tap with everything made on site, and a small amount of sandwiches. DiLiberto said the original plan was to just be a brewery and distributor. However, when they found the space in Lansdale, it allowed the owners to do more than just brew and distribute. He said that they want to be known for their …
