Lansdale Man Arraigned on 22 Felonies for Alleged Silk Factory Thefts

Huan Nguyen, 37, allegedly stole a set of master keys at the Lansdale apartment complex on Line Street and proceeded to steal items and packages from neighbors. Nguyen is also being held for a separate 2005 diamond heist in Philadelphia.

In 2009, expensive items and packages began to disappear from apartments at Silk Factory Lofts in Lansdale. The alleged culprit wasn’t a ghost, but a tenant who allegedly got his hands on a set of master keys. Now, Huan Nguyen, 37, according to The Reporter, heads to a preliminary hearing on those Silk Factory thefts following arraignment in Lansdale District Court this week. It was revealed that Nguyen is an alleged expert filcher, having been connected to numerous Lansdale burglaries in 2009 and a 2005 diamond heist in Philadelphia, according to The Reporter. According to court records, Nguyen was arraigned on 22 felonies for the Silk Factory thefts. Bail was set at $50,000, according to court records. The Reporter reports that Nguyen …

Burglaries Reported in Upper Gwynedd Over Two Days

A burglary was reported on Park Road in West Point on Tuesday, and another one on Monday afternoon on Crest Road

Upper Gwynedd Township Police are investigating two reported burglaries that occurred over two days. The first burglary was reported Monday night at 7:45 on the 900 block of Crest Road, but was believed to have occurred during the late afternoon to early evening. Unknown persons forced entry into the home and stole a number of items, police said. A Cheltenham Township Police K9 assisted with a search of the area, police said. Crest Road is located between Valley Forge Road and Supplee Road, off Anders Road. The second reported burglary occurred Tuesday afternooon on the 600 block of Park Road. Police were dispatched around 12:15 p.m. Unknown persons forced open a side door and gained entrance into the home, police said. A Montgomery …

A Perkiomen man who committed burglaries in Towamencin and Perkiomen townships to support his oxycodone habit — and who sold a stolen firearm for $200 to a Hatfield Village Apartments resident — will spend up to 23 months in prison. David Darren Yoder, 27, of the 300 block of Maple Avenue, was sentenced last week after pleading guilty to burglary and firearms violations for incidents that occurred in November 2011, according to the Spring-Ford Reporter. Yoder will also complete five years’ probation following imprisonment and pay $800 in restitution, according to the article. Alleged Burglary Duo Get Criminal Counts, Bail Reduced

For now, they're the Montgomery County and Bucks County answer to Bonnie and Clyde - except their targets weren't banks, but residential houses in numerous municipalities. On July 18, Joshua Siringhaus, of the 1600 block of Supplee Road in Upper Gwynedd, and Kristin Leidy, of the 500 block of South Main Street, Hatfield Borough, will be arraigned in Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas on 58 criminal charges each in connection with burglaries in and around Hatfield Township. The preliminary hearings for Joshua Siringhaus, of Upper Gwynedd, and Kristin Leidy, of Hatfield Borough were continued today to June 7 at 2:30 p.m. before District Judge Andrea Duffy. Both have been charged in connection with numerous daytime burglaries since March in several Montgomery and Bucks County municipalities, according to police. Franconia Man Charged with Residential Burglaries

Ryan Weeks, 31, faces 44 charges in his alleged connection to numerous daytime burglaries in numerous towns

A Franconia Township man has been arrested by Hatfield Township Police as the alleged culprit in numerous daytime burglaries in Hatfield Township, Franconia Township and Horsham Township. Ryan Weeks, 31, of the 100 block of Forrest Road, Franconia, has been charged by police with 44 charges related to burglaries in our area. Weeks faces eight felony counts of burglary, eight felony counts of criminal trespassing, eight counts of felony theft by unlawful taking, eight counts of felony receiving stolen property, 10 counts of use or possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of criminal attempted burglary. Felony Burglary Charges Held for Lansdale Man

Scott Neiswender faces 35 charges at county arraignment in connection to his alleged burglarization of nine homes in four municipalities between October and December

Twelve victims took the stand Tuesday afternoon in the courtroom of District Judge Andrea Duffy and told how their jewelry, cash and livelihoods were stolen from their homes over the course of three months. The alleged culprit, according to police, is Scott Joseph Neiswender, 27, whose last know address was 825 Shaw Avenue in Lansdale. Neiswender had 35 charges of varying statutes held against him for county arraignment April 25. Neiswender faces seven counts of felony burglary, seven counts of felony criminal trespass, seven counts of felony theft by unlawful taking, one count of attempted burglary, six counts of criminal mischief and seven counts of receiving stolen property, according to court documents. Montgomery Township Police have arrested a Lansdale man in connection with multiple burglaries in numerous municipalities. Scott Joseph Neiswender, 26, of the 800 block of Shaw Avenue in Lansdale, was charged Thursday with seven counts of burglary, two counts of attempted burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief, police said. The investigation began after Neiswender was identified and charged Dec. 30, 2011 with prowling around a Montgomery Township home on Morningside Drive, police said. Further investigations involving Lansdale, Lower Gwynedd Township and Hatfield Township police departments resulted in the recovery of stolen property at Neiswender's Shaw Avenue home, police said.
