Distelfink Bakery's 12 violations does not surprise me. The last time I shopped there, which was several years ago, the employee fingered every cookie she was boxing for me without gloves! When I voiced my objections she gave me the dirtiest look! Was the last time I will go to that bakery! Absolutely disgusting! From the report I can see things have not improved! They should shut that place down!   more ›

Local business owners are encouraged to claim their listings in Montgomeryville-Lansdale's Patch's "Places" directory

When Montgomeryville-Lansdale Patch launched in December 2010, editors and freelancers ventured into our community to collect information on local businesses for our directory. Patch Places is where users can find descriptions, business hours, accepted payment methods and much more info on Montgomeryville, Lansdale and North Penn area businesses. Users can add events happening at your location, rate the business on a scale of one to five stars and even add a review, but owners of local businesses get added bonuses like marketing tools and extra permissions when they claim a listing. We love walking around Lansdale and seeing what's going on," said Amanda, of Lansdale, who brought her four-year-old son Carter out for the night. "We go out of our way to make sure we're here.  I think we've been to every one," she added. When asked about his favorite part of the event, Carter said, "The kid zone!" Check out our photo gallery and see if you were caught in our lens, and be sure to check out our video coverage, which features many of the sights and sounds that graced the eyes and ears of those in attendance.

For instance, an infant would be taught a steady beat, and that, in turn, is used to start learning how to crawl and walk. “You need a steady beat for everything: to be able…
