A Lansdale man who publicly masturbated on purpose in view of young girls and women — and who was finally nabbed masturbating in broad daylight outside his truck in the lot of Lansdale Train Station — admitted to his crimes in Montgomery County Court Wednesday. Gerald F. Boyce Jr., 41, of the 600 block of Wissahickon Avenue, pleaded guilty to numerous counts of indecent exposure that occurred between June 2011 and May 2012 throughout Lansdale Borough, according to Carl Hessler of Pottstown Mercury. Boyce, who was charged with attempted rape in Philadelphia in 2000, committed five public masturbation incidents wherein eight of the 10 victims were underage. This isn't Gerald F. Boyce Jr.'s first brush with the law over indecent exposure and corruption of minors charges. Boyce Jr., 40, of Wissahickon Avenue in Lansdale, the suspect in the Lansdale serial masturbation spree between June 2011 and May 2012, was charged by Philadelphia Police in June 2000 with attempted rape, sexual assault and corruption of minors, as well as additional charges. Furthermore, Boyce Jr. was charged in 1999 by Philadelphia Police with indecent exposure and open lewdness. He was also found guilty in 1997 of indecent exposure, open lewdness and corruption of a minor. A charge of indecent exposure was dropped at a January 2001 preliminary hearing in Philadelphia Municipal Court by Judge Glynnis Hill for the June 2000 …

Wednesday, May 30 Update Lansdale Police on Wednesday issued a press release on the arrest of Boyce. Police said Boyce was wearing an article of clothing that matchd the description during a prior incident on June 25. A search warrant was served on Boyce’s vehicle and residence which yielded further evidence linking him to the crimes charged, police said. Boyce has been charged with five incidents reported to Lansdale Police since 2011 with four incidents still under investigation, police said. Towamencin Police said a suspicious circumstance occurred March 2 at 3:50 p.m. in the area of Rittenhouse and Bustard roads, near Towamencin Vol. Fire Co. Police said a 15-year-old girl was walking from her home on Candlewood Way to a friend's home, when she noticed a black four-door sedan with rear tinted windows driving slowly. The driver, a white male in his early 30s, attempted to get the girl's attention by honking the horn several times, police said. The driver then motioned for the girl to come in his direction, police said. The driver did not speak to the girl. An 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were charged after they were detained following a fight
An 18-year-old Lansdale high schooler was arrested Feb. 17 and charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, Towamencin Police said, following his involvement in a fight in the hallway of North Penn High School. Demetrius Anderson, 18, of the unit block of West Fifth Street, was arraigned before District Judge Harold Borek and committed to Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail. The other student in the fight was a 15-year-old boy from Lansdale, who was charged through Montgomery County Juvenile Court with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, police said.
