Bank Robbed Second Time, Alleged Robber Nabbed

Citizen's Bank in Giant on Knapp Road in Montgomery was robbed of more than $1,200 Thursday, but the alleged robber from New Jersey was arrested by Towamencin Township Police.

A Hamilton, New Jersey man allegedly made off with more than $1,200 from the Citizen's Bank in Giant Food Store in Montgomery Township Thursday afternoon, but was nabbed by Towamencin Township Police 15 minutes later. The bank was last robbed March 6. Freddie Feliciano, 38, faces charges of robbery, terroristic threats, theft and other related offenses in Montgomeryville District Court. He remains incarcerated following arraignment by District Judge Rebar, who set bail at $100,000 cash, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is set for May 29. Audubon Bank Robber Also Committed Crimes in Montgomery Township, Police Say

Police said a local cab company helped them capture the man they believe robbed the First Niagra Bank in Audubon, as well as others in Plymouth and Montgomery townships.

Lower Providence Police have a man in custody they believe robbed the First Niagra Bank at Trooper and Egypt roads in Audubon shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday morning, as well as banks in Plymouth and Montgomery townships. Kyle Anthony Wilson, 21, of Fort Washington, was captured in under an hour after a tip from a local cab company led police to his whereabouts in Philadelphia. Authorities believe Wilson is also responsible for the robberies of the PNC Bank at 2450 Chemical Road in Plymouth Township on Wednesday, March 11 and a Citizen’s Bank in Montgomery Township on Wednesday, March 6. Bank Robbery at Knapp Road Giant, Robber Has Acne Scars, Police Say

No one was injured in the robbery of Citizens Bank inside Giant Food Store in Montgomery Township Wednesday afternoon. Police are seeking a white male in his 20s, who has a bad facial complexion and who was wearing a North Face jacket.

Montgomery Township Police are looking for a bank robber with a bad complexion. Montgomery Township Police said the robber in Wednesday afternoon's bank robbery of Citizens Bank inside Giant Food Store at 1201 Knapp Road is described as a white male in his early 20s, with brown hair, 5-foot-7, 140 pounds with a slender build. The robber was wearing blue jeans, white sneakers and a black North Face jacket with a black hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head, police said. Cyberattacks Affect Citizens Bank Website

PNC Bank, others have also reported attacks by an online Islamist group.

An online Islamist group protesting an anti-Muslim video on YouTube is to blame for a recent series of cyberattacks against Citizens Bank and other banks, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported. Bank officials confirmed that customers have had trouble accessing mobile and online banking services due to a distributed denial of service [DDoS] attack. Rather than attempt to break into customer accounts or otherwise violate a bank's online security, a distributed denial of service attack is intended to overwhelm a website with bogus requests so that legitimate vistors can not access it. A Hatfield Township man is in Lansdale Police custody after allegedly committing an armed robbery on a woman who was behind the wheel of her car in a parking lot on Jenkins Avenue. Stacy Beckett, 40, of the 100 block of Tulip Drive, Hatfield Township, was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly robbing a 30-year-old woman at gunpoint on the unit block of Jenkins Avenue, near South Broad Street and Stanbridge Apartments. He was tasered and arrested about a 75 minutes after the 9 p.m. robbery on the unit block of East Second Street behind Citizens Bank, police said. Citizen's Bank Robbed Wednesday Morning in Richland

A heavyset white male, wearing a tank top and shorts, demanded money from a teller Wednesday morning at Citizen's Bank in Richland Crossings

The Citizen's Bank Richland Crossings Shopping Center in Richland Township, Bucks County, was robbed Wednesday morning. A white male with buzz-cut brown hair, wearing blue shorts and a gray tank top walked into the bank around 10:52 a.m. and told a teller he was armed, according to police frequency dialogue. His arms, legs, chest and face were exposed, according to Matt Coughlin of PhillyBurbs.com. The robber was given a red dye pack, which exploded. According to the article, the suspect is about 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds.
