Another Saturday with a lot going on: A Lansdale Catholic electronics recycling event, a Towamencin Soccer Club hurricane victim collection, a North Penn PAL kickoff at Montgomery Mall, a Cannoneers cheerleading fundraiser and more
1. The North Penn Police Athletic League holds an inaugural kickoff event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the lower level of JC Penney’s at Montgomery Mall. This is the time for parents to sign up children ages 11 to 18 in the North Penn School District area as a PAL member FOR FREE. There will be giveaways, police demos, police vehicles, SWAT team displays and more. Sponsors are Lansdale Hospital and Montgomery Township Police Benevolent Association. 2. Lansdale Cannoneers holds a “Cheer Burger Day” Fundraiser today, beginning at noon to 6 p.m. at 501 N. Cannon Avenue, Lansdale.
