Senses Satisfied at 21st Int'l Spring Fest

Twenty-one years of culture. Twenty-one years of celebration

The scents! The sounds! The sights! Savory! All senses were satisifed Saturday at the 21st International Spring Fest, a collaboration by Lansdale Library and North Penn High School. Name a country - chances are it was there. And each one had on display what makes it the best - everything from textiles and Russian nesting dolls to Gabon snakeskins and Egyptian statues. There were Chinese folk dancers, Bangladeshi dancers and Elite Strings youth orchestra in the audion.  Throughout the day in the main gym was a martial arts and sword fighting demo, a Chinese fan dance, an umbrella-ella-ella dance, and Ballet Folklorico de Acapulco. Bridle Path Students Dance the Night Away

The Spring Family Dance was fun for all, including those who simply sat and watched.

With music provided by Xtreme Entertainment, students and parents spent Friday night dancing at Bridle Path Elementary. It was a tremendously fun and, at times, hilarious event.  Check out our gallery and video of all that went on.
