A Towamencin man remains in prison on charges that he allegedly assaulted a woman at her home on Allentown Road on December 5, and allegedly prevented her from leaving the home for her safety. James Carr Heath Jr., 43, of the 1300 block of Allentown Road, was arrested and charged with two misdemeanor counts of simple assault, false imprisonment and two counts of harassment, according to court records. Heath was arraigned December 5 before District Judge Harold Borek, who set bail at $25,000 cash, according to court records. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 13 at 1:15 p.m. in Lansdale.
