Hatfield Teen Gets Inpatient Rehab Bail Condition in Heroin Case

Harley Duval, 19, of the 1300 block of Needham Circle, had his bailed reduced to 10 percent of $500, with an inpatient rehab condition, following a preliminary hearing Tuesday. Duval allegedly sold nine bags of heroin to an undercover Lansdale officer.

A Hatfield teen charged with selling nine bags of heroin to an undercover Lansdale Street Crimes Unit detective is required to head to inpatient rehab in Eagleville upon posting $50 bail, following a waiver of a preliminary hearing Tuesday in Lansdale District Court. Harley Duval, 19, of the 1300 block of Needham Circle, remains charged with three felony counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, two felony counts of criminal use of a phone, three misdemeanor counts of possession of heroin, three misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and three misdemeanor counts of receipt in commerce, according to court records. An Upper Gwynedd man headed to trial for allegedly helping to run a multicounty organized methamphetamine ring was in court again, this time for numerous alleged fraudulent motorcycle sales. Francesco “Frank” Messina, 43, of the 600 block of Garfield Avenue, West Point, is charged with six counts of felony theft by deception and two counts of felony deceptive business practices, according to Dan Sokil of The Reporter. Former Air Force Lt. Charged with 35 Felony Counts of Child Porn

A former United States Air Force lieutenant and fugitive from justice was video arraigned Wednesday morning before District Judge Andrea Duffy on multiple charges of distributing and possessing child pornography. Jayson Dicho, 31, of Heather Court in Brookside Manor Apartments in Hatfield Township, is charged with five felony counts of disseminating photos or film of child sex acts, 30 felony counts of child pornography and 30 felony counts of criminal use of a communication device, according to Montgomery County docket records. Dicho has a preliminary hearing set for May 25 at 10 a.m. before Duffy. Dicho is a former United States Air Force lieutenant, who was honorably discharged in 2007 after eight years of service, according to police. …

Andrea Duffy unofficially wins District Judge 38-1-18 race, defeating three-term incumbent David Keightly.

Here come the judge—and her name is Andrea Duffy. In 14 years, Duffy went from senior Deputy District Attorney for Bucks County to District Judge for Montgomery Township and parts of Hatfield Township. Duffy unofficially clinched the Magisterial District Judge 38-1-18 race Tuesday in the primary, defeating three-term Judge David Keightly. “From the best I can tell, I’ve lost the election,” said Keightly Tuesday night from his home. He said he would not concede because “it’s not like a presidential race.” Unofficial resuts on the Montgomery County website showed Duffy with 773 votes on the Republican ballot, or 56 percent of the vote, to Keightly's 605 votes, or 44 percent of the vote. The Lansdale Parking Authority has begun cleaning up property disorganization in the borough

Ever hear of the Lansdale Municipal Authority? Neither has Lansdale Borough Council. Yet Lansdale Municipal Authority owns four properties – three of which are not in Lansdale Borough. According to Montgomery County public land records, the Lansdale Municipal Authority has two addresses: one at 421 W. Main St. and another at 2225 Kriebel Road. The first is the location of District Court 38-1-28 – the former home of Lansdale Borough Hall – and the second is the location of the Upper Gwynedd-Towamencin Municipal Authority in Towamencin Township. Matthew Cross-Harris, 19, will head to county court in March no longer facing a felony robbery charge. However, the young father will be arraigned on felony drug charges related to nearly 2 grams of cocaine found in a search of his E. Main Street residence in connection with the November robbery incident. His public defender, Cary Hall, attempted to get the felony charge dropped, and painted his client as a victim of circumstance. Charges held in pair accused of New Year's Day robbery and assault

Montgomery Township resident Kareem Moore and Hatfield Borough resident Jamal Bell allegedly robbed and assaulted a man who gave them a ride home from Hattrick's on New Year's Eve.
