Manna Gives Out Turkeys and All the Trimmings
Manna on Main Street's Turkey Basket distribution was another success for 250 families
Let's talk turkey. In fact, let's talk free turkey. Manna on Main Street's Turkey Basket distribution on Monday afternoon and evening was another success for some 250 families. By 1 p.m., the line was out Manna's front door, down the sidewalk, and into the parking lot at Mitchell Avenue and Main Street. "We are giving out turkeys and all the fixings to all families that shop with us," said volunteer coordinator Anthony Tarzia. Manna serves more than 1,000 families on a regular basis. In order to be eligible for Manna services, families and individuals must show proof of residence in the North Penn School District area.
