Finn McCool's Hiring Halted, Re-Opening Soon

Finn McCool's hiring has been postponed in wake of co-owner's murder

Update, 6:48 p.m. Friday In the wake of co-owner Joe Canazaro's murder in Hilltown on Friday, hiring has been put on hold, per Finn McCool's Facebook update.  Earlier Story Finn McCool's in Ambler has been closed since May 1, 2012, when an exterior wall facing Spring Garden St. collapsed into the street. On Thursday evening, Finn McCool's posted on their Facebook page that the restaurant and bar is hiring and accepting applications. Applicants can stop into the restaurant on Monday, Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 34 E. Butler Pike restaurant in Ambler. As far as when the restaurant will re-open to the public for dinner and drinks, the company's website says "re-opening soon." Watch their …

Hansen: President's "Out of Line" Comments "Shocked and Appalled" Him

Lansdale Borough Council President Matt West blasted fellow councilmen Jack Hansen and Rich DiGregorio for not voting on 2011 budget because they didn't want more police officers.

Councilman Jack Hansen had no idea he would be singled out, along with his neighbor and fellow councilman Rich DiGregorio, by council President Matt West Wednesday night for his voting against the 2011 budget in December. “It came out of left field.
