Armed Robbery Preliminary Hearing Bifurcated to Later Date

The Commonwealth opted to split the hearing to a later date in order for a late-term pregnant co-defendant to appear to testify at the hearing of her boyfriend and brother

The preliminary hearing of Cleveland Ford Jr. and Pau Chau, both of Philadelphia, will continue later in the month after the Commonwealth called for a bifurcation in order for a late-term pregnant co-defendant — who is also Ford's girlfriend and Chau's sister — to be present to testify at their hearing. Ford Jr. and Chau, both 25, along with co-defendant, Ford's girlfriend and Chau's sister Diep Thi Luu, 29, are charged in connection with the strong armed robbery of an employee outside LumenOptix on Progress Drive in Montgomery Township on March 30, 2012. Woman Sideswiped, Injured as She Enters Car in West Point

The woman in her 60s was taken by ground transport to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment. No charges filed yet against Perkasie woman who sideswiped the victim

A West Point woman in her 60s was sideswiped and injured as she entered her red Honda Civic EX after coming out of West Point Post Office Tuesday afternoon. The woman, whose name was not available at the scene, was taken by Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment for head lacerations, according to Upper Gwynedd Township Officer Ted Caiola. A small puddle of blood was visible on the roadway of West Point Pike outside the driver door of the Civic. The Civic was located along the curb of West Point Pike in front of the post office. "A 60-year-old patron of the post office comes out to her car. She was by the door, waiting for traffic to go by, and she was sideswiped by a 30-year-old driver," …

I can't agree with you more Karin. I work at Merck's and I see people driving way too fast every day. Plus their always either on their cell phones texting or talking without a headset endangering erveryone's life around them.   more ›
