The fire started in the back bedroom of a Hoppenville Road home just after noon on Wednesday.
Police, EMS and firefighters responded to the 5400 block of Hoppenville Road in Green Lane, Marlborough Township, shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a building fire. According to a Red Hill Fire Police official, the blaze started in a back bedroom. "The back part of the house, there's nothing left," the official said. On the scene, responders found the home engulfed in smoke. The family living in the home were evacuated while firefighters battled the blaze, which consumed the building. No one was reported injured, but some family pets were not accounted for Wednesday afternoon.
