Beer Run: Molly's 1-Miler Run Returns to Lansdale

Lansdale Area Fundraising Society and Molly Maguire's organized the annual 1-mile run through downtown Lansdale and the west ward of the borough. Proceeds went to Manna on Main Street.

Hundreds took part in the Molly Maguire’s 1-Miler Run Sunday afternoon in downtown Lansdale. The event benfited Manna on Main Street. This year debuted the Guinness Gallop, with its challenge: Drink a pint of Guinness before the race, run and drink another after the race. Check out our Patch Clip on the race!

But there's no reason she should feel like the unluckiest gal on Earth. Come out and show support so Joyce can remain living with her grandchildren and daughter, Tracy Dutton Gaal. The 63-year-old is fighting ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Joyce's daughter has put on a benefit for her Saturday at 8 p.m. at Molly Maguire's in Lansdale. Molly's Busted for Underage Sale

The Lansdale restaurant and bar was cited by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board for selling or giving alcohol to a minor

Molly Maguire's in Lansdale was cited by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board for selling alcohol to a minor in Feburary, according to an article in The Reporter. Pennsylvania State Police's Bureau of Alcohol Enforcement said Molly Maguire's sold or permitted the sale of alcohol to a 19-year-old on Feb. 9, according to the article. The state liquor law requires the offense be brought before an Administrative Law Judge, who can impose penalties up to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. The judge can revoke or suspend a liquor license or mandate training on liquor law requirements, according to the law.

Molly Maguire's Chosen As Best Place To Celebrate Saint Pat's

With 52-percent of the vote, the local Irish restaurant and pub wins in a landslide.

As a part of our "Reader's Choice" series, we asked local residents to chime in on the best place to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day.  With the polls closed and the votes tallied, Molly Maguire's has been named the best place to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day in the Montgomeryville-Lansdale area, receiving 52-percent of the vote. Molly Maguire's is an Irish restaurant and pub located at the intersection of Main Street and Wood Street in Lansdale, which opened its doors during the summer of 2010.  They feature authentic Irish cuisine, live entertainment and a large selection of craft beer. Roads Temporarily Closed This Evening for Molly Maguire's One Miler Run

Police will temporarily close portions of roads in the western end of Lansdale to accommodate 100-plus runners in the pub's first one-mile run benefiting Manna on Main Street

Manna on Main Street is about to benefit from a wee bit luck o’ the Irish. Molly Maguire’s Pub, along with North Wales Running Company in North Wales Borough, will hold the first annual Get Lucky One Miler run this evening. The event was partially organized by Lansdale resident and former councilman Ben Gross. It will be timed by Pretzel City Sports.
