Are You Ready to Bowl, Lansdale? Not So Fast.

Despite widespread newspaper reports, borough code enforcement officials state they haven't received any formal submissions.

During Wednesday night's Lansdale Borough Code Enforcement and Land Planning Committee meeting, one particular topic on the agenda stood out: bowling alleys. Over the past few weeks, there has been much speculation about Lansdale becoming a "two-alley community," with reports stating plans were underway to build bowling alleys in both the Hillcrest Shopping Center and the building where Super Foodtown recently stood at The Pavilion Shopping Center.  Some reports even stated that Pavilion owner Joseph Grasso would "like to begin renovating in the next three to four weeks." PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce Mardi Gras Celebration

The chamber of commerce held its annual exhibitor event at PineCrest Country Club Tuesday evening.

The PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce, based in Lansdale, held its annual Mardi Gras event Tuesday evening at PineCrest Country Club in Montgomery Township from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event featured 18 exhibitors, such as The Reporter newspaper, Boyds Cardinal Hollow Winery, Conestoga Bank, Univest and Le Tip of Gwynedd. Sponsors of the Mardi Gras event included USI Affinity, The Reporter, and Seitz, Leatherman & Kolb, LLC. The event featured a business expo, networking, live Cajun music by Beck & Boyle Duo, and a silent auction. Silent auction items ran the gamut, such as 150 gallons of heating oil, valued at $500, from Moyer Indoor Outdoor; a round of golf for two at PineCrest; an autographed basketball from Gerald Henderson; and a $250 …
