Police: Two Attempted Home Burglaries in Same Towamencin Neighborhood

Towamencin Township Police are investigating reports of two attempted residential burglaries that occurred between January 12 and January 19 in the Inglewood section of the township

Two attempted burglaries occurred at two homes in the Inglewood section of Towamencin Township between January 12 and January 19, police said. Entry was attempted to a home on the 800 block of Sunnylea Road by cutting and removing a rear window screen, police said. Between 5:20 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. Jan. 18, entry was attempted on a home on the 800 block of Woodlawn Drive by prying on the rear door and door frame, police said. There was a cut in the rear porch sliding door screen, police said. Call Towamencin Police at 215-368-7606 with any information on the incidents.

Franconia Man Charged with Residential Burglaries

Ryan Weeks, 31, faces 44 charges in his alleged connection to numerous daytime burglaries in numerous towns

A Franconia Township man has been arrested by Hatfield Township Police as the alleged culprit in numerous daytime burglaries in Hatfield Township, Franconia Township and Horsham Township. Ryan Weeks, 31, of the 100 block of Forrest Road, Franconia, has been charged by police with 44 charges related to burglaries in our area. Weeks faces eight felony counts of burglary, eight felony counts of criminal trespassing, eight counts of felony theft by unlawful taking, eight counts of felony receiving stolen property, 10 counts of use or possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of criminal attempted burglary. A preliminary hearing is set for April 12 at 2:30 p.m. before District Judge Ken Deatelhauser. Bail has been set at $100,000 …

Police Investigating Three Home Burglaries

Two homes were burglarized on the 2000 block of Orvilla Road and one on Line Lexington Road

Hatfield Township Police detectives are investigating three residential burglaries that occurred in the areas of Line Lexington Road, East Orvilla Road and Merel Road since January. All burglaries took place during the day and involved a suspect or suspects forcing open a door to gain entry into the home, according to Detective Keith Bell of Hatfield Township Police. Police said once inside, the suspect or suspects will remove items easily carried away, such as jewelry and coins. The first incident occurred on Jan. 28. Police received a report of a burglary at a home on the 2600 block of Line Lexington Road, near Merel Road. Police said an interior garage door was forced open in order to gain entry into the home.
