Felony Burglary Charges Withdrawn Against Morgan Log House Suspects

Heather Spotts, Kevin Himes and Matt Copenhaver now face misdemeanor charges in connection with a burglary allegedly committed by the trio at the historic Towamencin Township-owned property

Heather Spotts, 19;  Kevin Himes, 22; and Matt Copenhaver, 21, walked into Lansdale district court Tuesday facing felony charges of burglary — and walked out with the charges withdrawn. Felony charges of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and criminal trespass were withdrawn by Towamencin Township Police at stipulated preliminary hearings Tuesday for the trio. Misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and loitering/prowling remained against all three. A misdemeanor charge of defiant trepass, however, was added against all three, according to court records. Bail for Himes and Copenhaver was reduced from $50,000 cash to $5,000 unsecured. They were released following the stipulated hearings Wednesday. Spotts was released on $50,000 …

Three Nabbed in Morgan Log House Burglary

Matthew Copenhaver, 21; Kevin Himes, 22; and Heather Spotts, 19 were arrested and charged with allegedly burglarizing the historic Towamencin property and resisting arrest

Two men and a teenage girl were arrested by Towamencin Police for allegedly burgarlizing Morgan Log House on Weikel Road. The three following residents were charged with felony burglary, felony criminal conspiracy, felony criminal trespass — breaking into a structure, loitering and resisting arrest: All three were arraigned Nov. 3 before District Judge Maurice Saylor of Gilbertsville and each were taken to Montgomery County prison in lieu of $50,000 cash bail, according to court records. All three remain incarcerated at Montgomery County prison, according to prison records. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. before District Judge Harold Borek in Lansdale. Prowling Suspect Faces Felony Charge; Resisting Arrest Dropped

A Lansdale man and convicted thief charged with felony criminal trespassing, loitering and prowling and possessing an instrument of crime had a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest withdrawn today at district court in Lansdale. Solomon did not face Judge Harold Borek for a preliminary hearing. All negotiations were done between public defender Fiorindo Vagnozzi and Lansdale Police Officer Joel Greco. Solomon, through his public defender Fiorindo Vagnozzi, waived all other charges to county Court of Common Pleas in exchange for withdrawing the resisting arrest charge. Solomon will be arraigned on the following charges in the common pleas court in August: Solomon apologized to Greco for defacing a home on the 100 block of Jenkins Avenue …

Lansdale Police Bust Man for Alleged Prowling

Ronald Edward Solomon Jr., 30, of Chestnut Street, Lansdale, allegedly fled from police after a report of prowling around a property posted "No Trespassing"

A Lansdale man convicted in Bucks County Court of Common Pleas in 2010 for theft of movable property has been arrested and charged with criminal trespassing and prowling in the borough. Ronald Edward Solomon Jr., 30, of the 100 block of South Chestnut Street, Lansdale, faces the following charges at his June 27 preliminary hearing at 1:45 p.m. before District Judge Harold Borek: Solomon was arraigned before Borek who set bail at 10 percent of $10,000, police said. Solomon was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post bail. Woman Charged with Assaulting Police

Towamencin Township Police have charged a 21-year-old woman with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and simple assault after she allegedly threatened to burn down a home and assaulted police. Jamie Ives, of the 1100 block of Boyd Avenue, Towamencin, was arraigned March 29 before District Judge Harold Borek and committed to Montgomery County prison in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, police said. On March 28, at around 11:10 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at a home on the 1100 block of Boyd Avenue. Upon arrival, police encountered Ives, who was yelling loudly and cursing.
