The Philadelphia man wanted by Hatfield Township Police for his alleged involvement in the Tasering and robbery of a man inside a vehicle on Feb. 24 turned himself into police Wednesday. Richard Lee Stroud, 20, of a third floor apartment on the 600 block of North 43rd Street, faces charges of felony robbery with immediate serious bodily injury, felony robbery with taking property by force, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment, felony theft, felony receiving stolen property, felony criminal use of a cell phone, possessing an instrument of crime, and felony use or possession of an electric or electronic incapacitation device, police said. Anthony Joseph Hughes, 25, of the unit block of West Third Street, Lansdale, was arrested and charged Jan. 29 with the following offenses: Hughes was arraigned before District Judge Harold Borek, who set bail at $25,000 cash, police said. In just two days of investigation, Lansdale Police have arrested and charged cousins Gene “Ray” Kulp, 18 and Michael Anthony Creciun, 21, who both reside on the 500 block of Edgemont Avenue, in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day robbery of Hen's Coins and Collectables on West Main Street in Lansdale. Both were arraigned before District Judge Henry Schireson of Narberth on the following charges: Creciun’s bail was set at $50,000 cash, police said. Lansdale Police Street Crimes Unit, along with Sgt. Ryan Devlin’s patrol squad, have made two arrests and recovered a number of items stolen during the commission of the robbery at Hen's Coins and Collectables Monday morning. Police will soon release the names of the suspects and details of the investigation. Chris Palmer of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Hilltown robbery and home invasion murder victim Joseph Canazaro was $10 million in debt to casinos, banks and the government. Bankruptcy documents from 2008 showed Canazaro owed hundreds of thousands of dollars to casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Biloxi, MS, according to the article. A matter was settled in bankruptcy court where Canazaro cashed $210,000 in faulty checks with two check-cashing agencies, Palmer reports. Locally, Canazaro owed taxes to Hatfield Township and New Britain Township.
