Tambourino Pleads Guilty to Fireside Assault, Sentenced to Prison

Marino Tambourino, 36, was sentenced to six-to-23 months in prison after pleading guilty to the assault of David Rogers, of Lansdale, at the Fireside Bar and Grill in March of 2012.

Marino A. Tambourino, 36, of Ambler, was sentenced to six-to-23 months in prison after pleading guilty to charges stemming from the March 2012 assault of a Lansdale man at the Fireside Bar and Grill. In addition to the prison sentence, Tambourino will also have to complete two years' of probation following his parole, according to the Reporter. The report adds that he will be eligible for work release while incarcerated. Though originally charged with felony aggravated assault, Tambourino pleaded guilty to the lesser charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person as part of Monday's plea agreement. Police initially responded to the Fireside during the early hours of Sunday, March 18, 2012, for a report of an assault. …

Ambler Man Heading to Jury Trial in Fireside Assault Case

Marino Tambourino, 35, is charged with felony aggravated assault and related offenses in connection with the beating of a Lansdale man at the Fireside Bar and Grill in March of 2012.

A jury trial has been scheduled for 35-year-old Marino Tambourino, of Ambler, who is accused of beating a Lansdale man at the Fireside Bar and Grill on Saint Patrick's Day in 2012. Tambourino, whose trial is set for April 22 at 9 a.m. at the Montgomery County Courthouse, is charged with felony aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment, in connection with the incident. Police responded to the Fireside during the early hours of Sunday, March 18, 2012, for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, police discovered David Rogers, 30, of Lansdale, laying in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor of the establishment. Charges Held Over In Fireside Assault

Marino Tambourino, of Ambler, will face a formal arraignment in county court at 9:30 a.m on July 18.

Following an unsuccessful attempt to have his charges dropped during a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, Marino Tambourino, of Ambler, will face a formal arraignment at the county courthouse on July 18. Tambourino, 35, has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person, in connection with the alleged Saint Patrick's Day beating of a Lansdale man at the Fireside Bar and Grill in Ambler. According to a report by Linda Finarelli with the Ambler Gazette, defense attorney Scott Krieger argued that the charges should be dropped because the victim did not testify. As a part of our "Reader's Choice" series, we asked local residents to chime in on the best place to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day.  With the polls closed and the votes tallied, Molly Maguire's has been named the best place to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day in the Montgomeryville-Lansdale area, receiving 52-percent of the vote. Molly Maguire's is an Irish restaurant and pub located at the intersection of Main Street and Wood Street in Lansdale, which opened its doors during the summer of 2010.  They feature authentic Irish cuisine, live entertainment and a large selection of craft beer.
