A Lansdale teenager charged with 33 criminal offenses — including 28 felonies — involving the alleged statutory rape and indecent assault of a teenage girl that began when she was eight or nine years old, and he was 12 years old, in June 2006, waived his hearing last week in Blue Bell District Court. Dunigan IV now heads to trial at Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. The waiving of a preliminary hearing before District Judge Robert Sobeck meant the alleged victim did not need to testify, according to Bradley Schlegel of The Reporter. Dunigan IV was represented at the preliminary hearing by attorney Robert Adshead. At the hearing Thursday, the prosecution will not seek, at present, a mandatory 5 to 10 years in state prison, according …

It's nonsense he is being charged. Absolutely absurd. He did not 'rape' anyone against their will. When I was 15 I dated a 22 year old. I didn't file charges on anything because it was my actions, my decisions and like they said, it takes two. They should have a law against minors for touching adults or luring adults. Fair game then.   more ›

somehow I think she will get off with a lighter sentence than a man. A male teacher would be looking at 20 years or more for this crime. She may even beat the sex offender registry. Don't misunderstand that I believe it is proper for a man or a woman. Pink Floyd said, "Leave the kids alone" and that is the way it should be. I hope I am wrong about her sentence.   more ›
