Lansdale Man Arrested on Drug Charges in Whitemarsh
Allegedly showed police to an area near Black Walnut Road where people loiter and drink.
Whitemarsh Township Police arrested a Lansdale man on Jan. 7 after a traffic stop on Spring Mill Road when police allegedly found marijuana, paraphernalia, plastic baggies and a scale in the Nissan Maxima he was driving. Sung Joo Lee, a 22-year-old from Line Street in Lansdale, was stopped at 37 Ridge Pike after his parked along a wooded area on Spring Mill Road near Black Walnut Road, accordig to police. During the stop, Lee told him that his car was parked along the road because he had gone into the woods “to start a fire,” police said. The reporting officer said that he detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and that Lee was lethargic and his eyes were red. The officer also noted that there were sandwich baggies …
