Plymouth Bank Robbery Suspect in Custody

Thirty-year-old Omar Muse, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody on Monday, Oct. 15.

According to a release issued by Plymouth Township Police, the suspect in tow area bank robberies over last weekend is currently in custody in Montgomery County Correctional Facility. According to police, on Sunday Oct. 14, just before 1 p.m. a male suspect entered the TD Bank at 502 Ridge Pike in the Conshohocken section of Plymouth Township and presented a note to the bank teller demanding money. The suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Omar Muse, of Philadelphia, left on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. Plymouth Police reportedly received numerous tips from the public regarding Muse's identity and with the assistance of Philadelphia Police 22nd District, he was taken into custody on Monday, Oct.15, without incident. PHOTOS: Police Searching for Suspect in Ridge Pike Bank Robbery

Police report a man robbed a TD Bank Sunday afternoon

Plymouth Police are searching for a man they believe robbed a TD Bank in the Conshohocken section of Plymouth Township on Sunday afternoon. According to a release from that department, the man entered the bank, located at 502 Ridge Pike, just before 1 p.m. and presented a note to the bank teller demanding money. The suspect then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, but dropped some when a red dye pack expelled, police said. The suspect is described as a 6'0" tall, heavyset black male with short dark hair. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and dark colored cargo pants at the time of the robbery, police said. Supervisors Agree to $5.5M Seven-Year Reset Loan in 3-1-1 Vote

The loan would be used to finance a property purchased for a future community center

Supervisors voted 3-1-1 this month to accept a financing agreement with Univest for a $5.5 million, 20-year reset loan, at a rate of 2.55 percent fixed for seven years, with the rate resetting every seven years at 67 percent of the prime, in order to finance a $1.5 million property purchased across the street from the administration building that could be the future site of a community center. The financing would also cover the cost of the Zehr property adjacent to William F. Maule Park at Windlestrae, which the township remains in litigation over with the Zehr family. The township purchased the land at Stump Road and Horsham Road a month ago, after it went into foreclosure. The property was owned by Univest. The vote went against the …

Former Cop Pleads Guilty to Seven Bank Robberies

Carl Holliday, 33, of New Jersey, admitted to the robberies in two states, including a TD Bank robbery in Towamencin last December. He was previously convicted in 2008 for misconduct as an officer for his alleged involvement in an assault and kidnapping.

A New Jersey man and former police officer pleaded guilty March 17  to robbing seven banks, including a TD Bank in Towamencin on Dec. 9, 2010. Carl Holliday, 33, of Vineland, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Edwin Kosik to committing the robberies in Pennsylvania and New Jersey between July and December of 2010. Holliday also admitted robbing a Rite Aid Pharmacy in White Haven, PA, according to U.S. Attorney Peter J. Smith. The guilty plea carries a maximum penalty of 160 years in prison for all offenses, followed by a 24-year term of supervised release and a $2 million fine. Holliday was formerly employed as a police officer in Bridgeton, NJ, in 2006, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office. According to an …
