Police Release Photos of Suspect in Ambler Savings Bank Robbery

The description of the suspect is similar to the one released in the robbery of a Lower Providence bank last week.

Authorities are looking for an unidentified man who robbed the Ambler Savings Bank at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Route 363 in Worcester Township on Monday morning. Pennsylvania State Police said the man entered the bank at about 10:05 a.m., walked to the teller counter, and demanded money from the teller. Police did not say whether the man was armed, but initial radio dispatch reports indicated that the man did not display a weapon while inside the bank. Police did not say how much money the robber stole. The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, between 5' 5" and 6' tall, with light-colored facial hair, but no mustache.
