Lansdale Man Nabbed on Active Warrant, Found Sleeping in Car

Curtis Walton, 50, of Broad Street, was found asleep in a car in the West Ambler section of Whitpain Township, during a police investigation of subjects looking into cars

A Lansdale man wanted by county court on DUI offenses was found sleeping in a car in the West Ambler section of Whitpain Township. Curtis Walton, 50, of the 300 block of Broad Street, Lansdale, was found asleep in his car during an investigation Dec. 23 at 2:16 a.m. by Whitpain Township Police for a report of subjects looking into cars, police said. During a check, it was discovered that Walton had an active Montgomery County bench warrant. He was taken into custody and released to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, police said. According to court records, a warrant was issued by the county court against Walton on Dec. 21. He is facing DUI and careless driving offenses in Lansdale Borough.
