Towamencin Sisters Accused of Oxycodone Dealing

Ebony Slocum, 32, and Darrina Slocum, 34, of the 100 block of Berwick Place, were arrested by Lansdale Police and Towamencin Township Police for allegedly selling Oxycodone and Percocet from their home, after a three-year investigation

After a nearly three-year investigation, Lansdale Police and Towamencin Township Police have arrested and charged two sisters for allegedly dealing Oxycodone and Percocet from their Berwick Place home in Chatham Village in Towamencin. Darrina Slocum, 34, and Ebony Slocum, 32, of the 100 block of Berwick Place, face numerous felony drug dealing charges stemming from a November 2012 incident, police said. Darrina Slocum is free on $10,000 unsecured bail, set by District Judge Harold Borek, according to court records.  Darrina has a preliminary hearing March 14 at 1:15 p.m. in Lansdale. Ebony Slocum remains incarcerated at Montgomery County prison in lieu of $75,000 cash bail, according to court records. Ebony has a preliminary hearing set …

Police: Towamencin Man Didn’t Stop at Red Light

Peter Kim, 50, of Berwick Place, Towamencin, allegedly caused an accident on Route 73

Peter Kim, 50, of Berwick Place, Towamencin, was cited by state police for failing to make a safe stop at a red light on Route 73 at Whitehall Road, according to the Reporter. Kim was involved in an accident, police allege, for not fully stopping at the light. Police said Kim was driving a 2012 Toyota Venza east on Route 73 around 9:10 a.m. Nov. 17, and hit a trailer’s tires on its left side, according to the article. The trailer was on a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500, driven by Carmelo Matrocola, 36, of Norristown, according to the article. Matrocola was turning left from Whitehall Road onto Route 73.
