Community Summit Defined the Meaning of 'Neighbor'

The Greater North Penn Collaborative for Health and Human Services held it annual Community Summit Wednesday at BranchCreek Community Church with special guest Peter Block

President Franklin D. Roosevelt said it best: "The only thing we have to fear is, fear itself." It's our fears that make us human, that make us a community. It's our concern for the well being of our community that can make our neighborly relationships better. Peter Block, an author, consultant, and speaker in the areas of organization development, community building, and civic engagement, was the guest during the Greater North Penn Collaborative of Health and Human Services' 7th-annual Community Summit Wednesday at BranchCreek Community Church in Lower Salford. Five Things to Know Today: May 23

The Greater North Penn Collaborative for Health and Human Services holds its 7th Annual Community Summit “Building a Vibrant Community Through Conversations that Matter” today

1. St. Stanislaus Parish School honors Blessed Mother Mary today with a May Procession at 1:45 p.m. Children will proceed from the front school entrance to the church for a prayer service and end the event by crowing Mary. 2. North Penn High School holds its annual North Penn Gallery Art Show tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the high school on Valley Forge Road. The show features media created by students from kindergarten to 12th Grade. A reception for seniors from the Senior Show will occur from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the high school art pod. 3.
