Members Named to 311 W. Main St. Task Force

The 311 W. Main Street Task Force will meet Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at borough hall and work on determining future of arts and community center in Lansdale

May the Task Force be with us. Council President Matt West announced the seven community members – four from the arts and entertainment field and three from the North Penn area – of the new 311 West Main Street Task Force at the borough council meeting Wednesday. Montgomeryville-Lansdale Patch broke the news of the appointment of the members of the task force with an exclusive story with one of the members, Amy Rims, of Lansdale. LBA + EDC = TLC

At its first monthly town hall session, the Lansdale Business Association and the Economic Development Committee talk about change, professionalism and self-investment.

There’s a new posse in town—and they aim to clean up these parts. They are team of Lansdale business owners and residents organized and committed to one goal: making the borough a success. This merchant militia is comprised of members of the Lansdale Business Association and the borough Economic Development Committee, and they organized the first-ever monthly town hall session at Lansdale Library Thursday evening. They left the meeting with an action plan—start taking responsibility and ownership of their properties, and pay it forward.
