A Montgomery Township man, who allegedly sold marijuana on three occasions over two months to an undercover detective in the Lansdale Police Street Crimes Unit, had all charges held for county arraignment in April at a Tuesday morning preliminary hearing in Lansdale. Shyeed Shaqu Tournkara, aka P-Nut, 20, of the 200 block of Cricklewood Circle, got his bail reduced at the hearing from $50,000 cash to 10 percent of $10,000, according to Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Nick Reifsnyder. "He could pay $1,000 to get out of jail," said Reifsnyder. "Sentencing for this is anywhere from probation to one month in prison. A 25-year-old Lansdale man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly sold cocaine to undercover police in the bathroom of a local bar. Michael Jerome Aye is charged with felony possession with intent to distribute, felony distribution and sales of a non-controlled substance as a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to us drug paraphernalia and receipt in commerce. Aye entered the front door of Montella's Sports Bar around 3:45 p.m., when a staff member recognized him as a previous customer who had been physically chased away by the bar's management during a previous visit. A Lansdale man convicted in 2010 of drug dealing was arrested by Lansdale Police on Feb. 1 for allegedly selling heroin in the borough, following a six-month investigation by the Lansdale Police Street Crimes Unit. Paul Michael Gensert, 33, of the 300 block of Acorn Street, was charged with felony possession with intent to distribute, two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor receipt/purchase of a controlled substance, police said. Towamencin resident Michael Smagalski, 29, — who is a defendant in four seperate active drug-related Montgomery County Common Pleas Court cases — is heading to county court Tuesday on a sixth drug-related case, this one involving alleged prescription pill dealing. Smagalski, of the 800 block of Continental Drive, at Towamencin Condominiums, was the target in a Montgomery County Drug Task Force operation, which involved alleged controlled purchases of drugs made via cell phone. Nine ounces of suspected marijuana were seized by police following surveillance at Broadmore Apartments in Lansdale
Nine ounces of marijuana, hash, drug paraphernalia and $1,800 were seized by Lansdale Police in an apartment in Lansdale following an investigation of alleged drug dealing by a 19-year-old man. Gregory Eugene Olsen, 19, of Broadmore Apartments, 639 S. Broad St., Lansdale, was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana from his apartment, police said. He faces one felony count and additional misdemeanor charges. In June, police received information on Olsen's alleged dealing, police said. In July and August, Lansdale and Montgomery Township police, along with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office Municipal Drug Task Force, conducted a joint narcotics investigaton of Olsen, police said.
