A Hatfield Township man, charged with faking a report in January of an armed robbery in Hatfield Borough's Centennial Park, had two misdemeanor charges held for Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Wednesday morning in Souderton District Court. William Graef III, 22, of Oak Road in Hatfield Township, faces misdemeanor charges of unsworn falsification to authorities and false reports to law enforcement authorities, according to police. Graef III has a formal arraignment in county court on March 23, according to court documents. Graef III made up the story, police said, so he had a reason to tell his parents why he did not have the $98 he was supposed to have in his possession.
