A Hatfield man allegedly fled the scene after driving his Ford Mustang up a utility pole support cable at Third Street and Mitchell Avenue Saturday night, and was subsequently charged with suspicion of DUI. Seth Charles Vandewater, 44, of the 1700 block of Walnut Street, was arrested Saturday night on suspicion of DUI and other charges by Lansdale Police. He was released to a relative and will be summoned to court at a later date. On Nov. 24, at around 11:47 p.m., Lansdale Police responded to Third Street and Mitchell Avenue for a single vehicle accident, police said.
