Police: DelCo Man Charged with Possessing Stolen Handgun

Jonathan Philip Dippold, 30, of the 1000 block of Tayler Drive, Folcroft, PA, was taken into custody by Towamencin Police Feb. 19 for alleged illegal possession of a stolen firearm and two other felonies while at Holiday Inn in Towamencin, police said. Dippold faces charges of felony possession of a firearm by a person prohibited from possessing a firearm, felony carrying a firearm without a license and felony receiving stolen property, according to court records. Dippold has a preliminary hearing set for March 7 at 11:30 a.m. before District Judge Harold Borek in Lansdale.
