Charges Held Over In Fireside Assault

Following an unsuccessful attempt to have his charges dropped during a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, Marino Tambourino, of Ambler, will face a formal arraignment at the county courthouse on July 18. Tambourino, 35, has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person, in connection with the alleged Saint Patrick's Day beating of a Lansdale man at the Fireside Bar and Grill in Ambler. According to a report by Linda Finarelli with the Ambler Gazette, defense attorney Scott Krieger argued that the charges should be dropped because the victim did not testify.
