Lansdale Man Arrested at Gunpoint Following Alleged Burglary

Abington police arrest Anthony Dennis Sr., 36, of Brookside Drive, after he allegedly pried his way into a home late Wednesday morning.

Abington Police said a Lansdale man broke into a home in the Elkins Park section of Abington late Wednesday morning. Police arrested Thomas Anthony Dennis Sr., 36, of the unit block of Brookside Drive, shortly after 11 a.m. after police said a witness saw a man forcing his way into an unoccupied home in the 900 block of Douglass Avenue. According to police, Dennis fled out a back window of the house, climbed a fence and ran into the rear section of the Manor College property. Police chased the suspect, who refused to stop or comply. Police: Man Faked Robbery So Parents Wouldn't Get Mad About Missing Cash

William Graef III, 22, of Oak Road in Hatfield, allegedly faked an armed robbery in Hatfield Borough so he had a reason to tell his parents why he did not have $98 he was supposed to have on him, police said

A Hatfield Township man, charged with faking a report last week of an armed robbery in Hatfield Borough's Centennial Park, made up the story, police said, so he had a reason to tell his parents why he did not have the $98 he was supposed to have in his possession. William Graef III, 22, of the 2000 block of Oak Road, faces misdemeanor charges of unsworn falsification to authorities and false reports to law enforcement authorities, at a Feb. 6 preliminary hearing at 9:30 a.m. before District Judge Kenneth Deatelhauser, police said. Graef III is free on $10,000 unsecured bail; if Graef III fails to appear at his scheduled hearing, then a warrant will be issued for his arrest and he will be responsible for the $10,000 cash bail. Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Hatfield Borough Park

Hatfield Township Police are investigating a robbery at gunpoint that occurred under a bridge in Centennial Park in Hatfield Borough Wednesday night

Hatfield Township Police are searching for a man in his 30s who robbed a man at gunpoint of cash and property under a bridge in Centennial Park in Hatfield Borough Wednesday night. The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 150 to 200 pounds, wearing blue jeans, tan work boots, and a black-hooded sweatshirt, police said. A Hatfield man, who was tasered and arrested by Lansdale Police on charges of felony robbery in October, had all charges held over to county court Thursday morning at a preliminary hearing in Lansdale. Stacy Maurice Beckett, 40, of the 100 block of Tulip Drive, allegedly robbed a 30-year-old Warrington woman at gunpoint on the unit block of Jenkins Avenue, near South Broad Street and Stanbridge Apartments, on Oct. 13. Lansdale Police said a home invasion and armed robbery report at 718 Willow Street was a targeted incident and not random. Police said officers responded to the residence at 10:20 a.m. A 24-year-old woman who was visiting the home told police two black males broke into the home, threatened her with a gun and bound her hands and feet with tape, police said. Update, Monday, June 4, 2012 Lansdale Police have issued a press release Monday with additional details on the armed robbery June 1 of Rani's Indian Deli and Quick Way Food Mart. Police responded at 9:50 p.m. to the business for a report of a panic alarm activation, police said. Upon arrival, police spoke with the owner and a customer who stated a black male wearing a black mask, black hoodie, black pants and black sneakers entered the store and pointed a gun at the owner, police said. The suspect demanded money and was given $500, police said. The suspect fled north on South Broad Street. Man Charged With Kidnapping Ex-Girlfriend

Allegedly forced victim into car at gunpoint

A man who allegedly forced his ex-girlfriend into his car at gunpoint outside a Lansdale bar has been charged with her kidnapping and numerous other offenses, Lansdale Police said today. Joshua Ellis, 28, allegedly forced the victim, an Upper Gwynedd woman, into his car in a parking lot near the Third & Walnut Bar in Lansdale shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Thursday night. The 21-year-old woman had been celebrating her birthday with friends inside the bar when Ellis allegedly arrived and became involved in an argument with her. Police Release Sketch of KFC Robbery Suspect

The suspect robbed the store safe at gunpoint

Montgomery Township Police have released a composite sketch of the man who robbed the KFC at Airport Square Shopping Center on Monday. Police said the culprit entered the restaurant and asked to see a manager. The suspect then displayed a black handgun and demanded money from the safe, police said. He fled on foot, exiting the business with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. The suspect is described as a white male, about 35 to 40 years old, 6 feet tall, medium to heavy build, brown straight hair, clean shaven, wearing a black coat, white T-shirt and blue jeans.
