Hatfield Township Police are searching for a black male who robbed the Lukoil at 1900 North Broad Street in Hatfield Monday morning. Officers responded at 9:40 a.m. to the gas station for a report of an armed robbery. Police said a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thid build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a gray and white cloth over his face, entered the gas station, pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money and cigarettes. After the robber received the money and cigarettes, he fled on foot west toward Cowpath Road, police said. HATFIELD, PA — The Hatfield man wanted on attempted murder charges in the throat slashing of his wife has turned himself has turned himself in to police—and remains incarcerated at Montgomery County prison on $1 million bail. Thomas Troy Young, 49, of the 300 block of Wheatfield Circle, contacted and turned himself in to Hatfield Township Police on March 15, police said. Young was arraigned before District Judge Harry Nesbitt and bail was set at $1 million cash, police said. Richard Lee Stroud, 20, of a third floor apartment on the 600 block of North 43rd Street, faces charges of felony robbery with immediate serious bodily injury, felony robbery with taking property by force, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment, felony theft, felony receiving stolen property, felony criminal use of a cell phone, possessing an instrument of crime, and felony use or possession of an electric or electronic incapacitation device, police said. A Hatfield Township man, charged with faking a report in January of an armed robbery in Hatfield Borough's Centennial Park, had two misdemeanor charges held for Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas Wednesday morning in Souderton District Court. William Graef III, 22, of Oak Road in Hatfield Township, faces misdemeanor charges of unsworn falsification to authorities and false reports to law enforcement authorities, according to police. Graef III has a formal arraignment in county court on March 23, according to court documents.
