B-Dawk Coming to Hilltown March 8

Former Philadelphia Eagles safety Brian Dawkins is the celebrity guest for Indian Creek Foundation's fundraiser at Calvary Church in Hilltown Township

B-Dawk, No. 20 himself, is coming to Hilltown Township on the evening of March 8 to share his personal stories and take part in a live Q&A session. Brian Dawkins, the former Philadelphia Eagles safety, is the celebrity guest at Indian Creek Foundation's Celebrity Event Fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. at Calvary Church, 820 Route 113, Hilltown Township, Bucks County. Dawkins will not be signing autographs at the event. All proceeds will directly benefit unfunded and underfunded programs at Indian Creek Foundation for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, according to a press release. Corbett Cuts Said to Threaten Montco Economy

Shapiro, Richards join business and non-profit leaders in call to restore health and human services funding to state budget.

Montgomery County Commissioners Josh Shapiro and Leslie Richards joined State Representative Matt Bradford (D-70th) and non-profit and business representatives on the steps of the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown on Thursday to denounce cuts to health and human services in the proposed Pennsylvania state budget for 2012-13. Steve- I do understand how taxation works and I also understand that without taxing the oil companies your also letting revenue leave the State and then have to cut programs that hurt many people. I'm all for cutting waste like the State Liquor Board. That in itself is a waste of tax money as well many other State agencies that are out dated or ineffective.
