Towamencin Man Admits Killing 3-Month-Old Son

Jameel Earthy East, 24, of Lantern Lane, smashed his son's head into a countertop for vomiting on him. He faces up to 42 years in prison

Enzo East was only three months old when his father ended his life by smashing his head against a bathroom sink, all because the toddler vomited on his father. Jameel Earthy East, 24, of the 400 block of Lantern Lane, Towamencin, pleaded guilty Friday to third-degree murder and lying to authorities in Montgomery County court, according to Carl Hessler Jr. of the Pottstown Mercury. UPDATE: Preliminary Hearing Set for Father Accused of Murder

Jameel Earthy East, 22, charged with third-degree murder after infant son died from fractured skull and brain injuries

Charges of third-degree murder, a class one felony, and lying to police in a written statement against Jameel Earthy East, of the 400 block of Lantern Lane, Towamencin, were held over for a preliminary hearing July 11 at 10 a.m. before District Judge Harold Borek. East was arraigned at 2 p.m. Wednesday before Judge Catherine Hummel-Fried in Red Hill. According to an affidavit, a caseworker with Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth Services reproted to police June 25 at 8:10 a.m. that a male infant, Enzo East, aged 3 months, was transported from his home to Abington Health Lansdale Hospital. The infant was unresponsive and Medevaced to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for treatment. The infant later died at CHOP. An autopsy…
