The borough's inaugural Founders Day began with praise and ended with fireworks
Maybe she should be the Indiana Jones equivalent of Indiana Jones, for she had unearthed some buried treasure on Saturday. Lansdale Borough’s records manager Sandy Cox showed off the new map hanging on the wall behind the entrance to the office of the borough manager to a visiting resident to the Fouders Day event. Well, “new” in the sense that it hadn’t been seen by recent eyes in a very long time. The same goes for the huge black and white picture of road crews installing the trolley line down Main Street – if you remember the SuperFresh that was at Assi Plaza in Montgomery Township, then you remember the reproduced photograph.
