Would you like a high-tech kiosk in the parking lot at Main Street and Susquehanna Avenue in Lansdale? How about one next to Chantilly Floral near the SEPTA station? Dan Sokil of The Reporter reports that the Lansdale Parking Authority is looking into installing such kiosks at those two municipal lots. Meters will also be coming back to Main Street and Madison Street, according to the article. Both are methods for Lansdale to reap revenue from downtown parking. Soon, the authority will recommend borough council approve implementation of recommended parking changes from consultants Nelson Nygaard Associates, according to Sokil. Former Shiloh Lodge F. & A.M. No. 588 Worshipful Master Joe McQuillin, owner of McQuillin Studio in Lansdale, provided a backstory on 311 W. Main Street at the Lansdale town hall session last month – a tale of miscommunication, poor decisions, broken promises and a transaction worth $450,000. McQuillin said he was at a recent North Penn Rotary Club meeting speaking with new Shiloh Lodge member Jack Chun, an architect who designed the Montgomery County Cultural Center in Norristown, the North Penn Rotary Bandshell at White's Road Park and the former Lansdale Performing Arts Center. At last month's town hall session, the idea of demolishing or selling the former arts center was discussed

Main Street, and with the second task force meeting next Tuesday at 7 p.m., this story is being re-featured with new information and updated points from the town hall session on Lansdale's hottest topic.
