Lansdale May Create Events Coordinator
The Economic Development Committee and Communications Commission will be discussing inclusion of a new position in 2012 budget, complete with a $175K price tag.
The proposal of creating a Lansdale events coordinator—funded by $150,000 from the borough and $25,000 raised by borough businesses—and forming a Department of Community Development for possible inclusion in the 2012 budget will be the hot topic in two Lansdale committees. The proposal was proffered by code enforcement director John Ernst at Monday night’s joint EDC and Communications Commission meeting.
