There are talks of installing a welcome sign in Towamencin near the Lansdale Interchange, according to reports. Discussions come at a time when a 6-mile expansion of the Northeast Extension between Mid-County and Berks Road wraps up in 2014, according to the article. What you have now between Lansdale and Berks Road are two lanes northbound and southbound at 12 feet wide each, with a two-foot median/barrier and 10-foot shoulders.
