Commercial Filmed in Lansdale on Thursday
Shadowbox Pictures produced a commercial for NetSpend, with filming over two days in Lansdale, Lafayette Hill and Conshohocken
Commuters and pedestrians were in awe Thursday morning at the film production going on on West Main Street in front of the vacant location of the former Lansdale News Agency and One Snip At a Time salon. It was all part of a production for a 60-second commercial for NetSpend by ShadowBox Pictures, according to producer and Montgomery Township resident Larry Buckley. ShadowBox Pictures is based in Yardley. "I get my haircut next door," said Buckley. "I saw the space next door and said it could work with what I wanted." The former Lansdale News Agency and Ah's Garage location was transformed overnight into "M-Star Check Cashing," to go along with client NetSpend's commercial.
