Police Nab Three Theft Suspects After Pursuit

Two black females and one black male reportedly committed retail theft from a store in Montgomeryville and fled from police after a traffic stop. The car crashed on Route 309 in Lower Gwynedd, and the suspects allegedly fled the scene before being caught

Three suspects — two who are convicted thieves and one headed to trial on separate theft charges — in Sunday afternoon's retail theft at Olly Shoes at Airport Square in Montgomery Township, and subsequent crash and foot pursuit with police, are in custody and face numerous misdemeanor offenses. Arrested in the incident Sunday afternoon were: Washington and Purnell are charged with the following misdemeanor offenses: Bennett is charged with the following offenses: All three were arraigned before District Judge Scott Palladino in Pottstown on Sunday. All three remain incarcerated at Montgomery County prison. All three face preliminary hearings on Nov. 27 at 10:15 a.m. before District Judge Andrea Duffy in Montgomeryville. According to court …

I saw this whole incident happen on my way down 309 with a friend of mine....If we were two minutes earlier my buddy and I would have possibly been killed by this chick weaving in and out of traffic at 90 mph. Traffic Restrictions on Route 202, Route 63 This Week

There will be lane closures due to construction related to the Route 202 Parkway Project.

Expect traffic backups today along Routes 202 and 63 in Montgomery, Upper Gwynedd and Lower Gwynedd townships due to periodic lane closures in relation to construction of the Route 202 Parkway. According to PennDOT, periodic lane closures will occur for ongoing utility relocation between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Friday on Route 202/DeKalb Pike, between Sumneytown Pike and Knapp Road, and on Route 63, between Stump Road and Bell Run Boulevard. The traffic changes don’t stop in Montgomery County.
