The Upper Gwynedd brewing company partnered with Becker's Corner in Quakertown Wednesday night for a leukemia fundraiser for 13-year-old Matthew Knoebel, of Lansdale. Prism Brewery also premiered its Chemosabe brew.

Chemosabe (ABV: 8.5 percent; IBUs: 67) is Prism's new brew—a big black wheat beer with a hint of wasabi. Chemosabe's creation was inspired by a little girl's fight with cancer. Gabriella "Gabby" Vogel, of Phoenixville, died at five years of age from a brain tumor in 2011. She was diagnosed with Diffuse Intra Pontine Glioma (DIPG). In her memory, the Get Well Gabby Foundation was formed to fight for a cure for childhood cancer. Prism Brewery owner Rob DeMaria wanted to raise money to help Gabby and her family…
